Residents can vote for their favourite 'green' places, spaces and businesses

Toronto residents invited to vote for their favourite 'green' places, spaces and businesses

The City of Toronto today launched Toronto's Greenest Choice, a campaign that invites residents to vote for the places, spaces and businesses that help make Toronto one of the greenest cities in North America.

Residents can vote for their favourites in 25 categories, including farmers markets, second-hand shops, bike shops, local craft breweries, hiking trails, urban gardens and more. If a resident's favourite is missing from the list of contenders in a category, they can add it.

The winner in each category will be determined by popular vote. Voting closes Friday, October 7. Winners will be announced in early November.

Residents 18 years of age or older who complete the poll are eligible to win prizes, including a commuter bike, "Total ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) Experience" passes and Live Green Toronto prize packs.
