Runnymede Fire Station Re-Opens

On Wednesday, October 12, I was pleased to join Toronto's Interim Fire Chief Matthew Pegg and local residents to celebrate the re-opening of the Runnymede Fire Station. Faced with cuts in the previous administration, we were able to fight to keep this important location as part of Fire Services property. It has re-opened as a Public Education Centre but can also be used as an active fire station at any time. Read more about the event in this article from Urban Toronto, here.
